Top things to do in Prague

When I found a $36 USD roundtrip ticket to Prague… I knew I had to make a short Monday to Wednesday trip! This was my first time in Prague and I knocked off pretty much every tourist site, here were the highlights of my trip that I would recommend others to do!

FIRST… Walk through Old Town. This is a must, the Old Town is one of the most beautiful parts of Prague! With gorgeous architecture and colourful buildings.

SECOND… Walk on Charles Bridge. Try to go earlier in the day or later in the afternoon to avoid crowds! The bridge is beautiful and looks over the Danube.

THIRD… Check out Prague Castle. The gothic architecture is incredible and the view is great, if you are already there make sure to walk over to St Wenceslas Vineyard for wine, a meal and a great view of the city.

FOURTH… Walk through the cute streets in Mala Strana (right by the castle and Charles Bridge). Here you’ll find many shops serving a famous Prague dessert, Trdelnik.

FIFTH… The highlight of my trip – go to Terasa U Prince in the Old Town and head up to their rooftop for a drink or meal! I had heard the view was great but I didn’t expect it to be as beautiful as it was! My boyfriend and I made a dinner reservation for 6:15pm so we could experience the rooftop with sunlight and at night. 10/10 would recommend doing this!
