Although no one is travelling right now, one can dream 🙂 Today I’ll be sharing some details about one of my favourite hikes in Hong Kong, the twin peaks. If you are a tourist coming to visit this is one of the most beautiful and convenient hikes to do in Hong Kong!
When to go?
This hike can be done at any time of the year, however if you are hiking this during summer go early in the morning or for sunset for optimal temperatures. Bring lots of water, a hat, and sunscreen!
How to do the hike:
The best way to do this hike is in combination with the “Violet Hill” hike. It should take 2-3 hours to complete the whole thing.
Start off at “Parkview,” you can take a taxi and the driver will know where this is. Otherwise, you take bus 6 or 66 from Exchange Square. Upon arriving to Parkview there are three different starting points with trail maps, choose the very first trail on the right side of the road (when going up the hill). Then follow the trail straight! After climbing your first peak and descent the path will split three ways, keep going straight! You will end in Stanley, from here you can catch a bus or wait for a taxi/Uber.
